Help Shape the Future of the Texas Forest Trail

Since stepping into my role as Executive Director of the Texas Forest Trail Region, I have been working to reconnect with our partners, strengthen the organization, and build new momentum for heritage tourism across East Texas.

The Texas Forest Trail Region supports the communities, historic sites, museums, downtowns, and local destinations that make East Texas such a special place. Designated by the Texas Historical Commission as one of Texas’s ten official heritage tourism regions, we serve 35 counties and work to strengthen tourism and local economies through marketing, collaboration, storytelling, and partner programs that promote East Texas destinations.

As we look ahead, I want to make sure the Forest Trail is serving the needs of the people and communities we support. I would be grateful if you could take a few minutes to complete this short survey:

The survey is quick, and your feedback will help guide our priorities for the year ahead.

If your organization is not currently a Texas Forest Trail partner, I invite you to become one today. Partnership helps strengthen regional heritage tourism while giving your community, museum, historic site, attraction, or organization greater visibility across the Texas Forest Trail network.

I would also welcome the opportunity to visit your community, museum, historic site, or organization to learn more about your work and discuss ways the Texas Forest Trail Region can support heritage tourism, promotion, partnerships, events, and storytelling.

You can schedule a visit below:

Thank you for the important work you do across the region, and for taking the time to share your feedback. I look forward to hearing from you and continuing to strengthen our regional partnership.
