| MEQUON, WI – June 4, 2025 – React19, a leading patient-driven nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals suffering from long-term adverse effects of COVID-19 vaccines, is proud to announce the formation of its new Medical Board, chaired by Dr. Mobeen Syed. This significant step forward strengthens React19’s mission to provide science-based financial, physical, and emotional support to those impacted by vaccine-related injuries. Dr. Mobeen Syed, a respected physician and educator known for his approach and commitment to medical education, will lead the Medical Board in advancing React19’s efforts to connect patients with healthcare providers, foster patient-led research, and advocate for competent care protocols. His leadership will enhance collaboration with medical professionals and institutions to better understand and address the complex needs of the vaccine-injured community. The Medical Board consists of strong leaders in neurology, immunology, pediatrics and beyond. Under Dr. Syed’s leadership, the Medical Board will focus on expanding React19’s nationwide provider network, improving access to specialized care, and supporting patient-led research initiatives. The board will also work to raise awareness about vaccine injuries, advocate for policy changes, and ensure that the voices of the affected are heard by medical and governmental institutions. About joining React19 Dr. Syed says, ” I joined React19 because there is an urgent need for sincere, scientific, and evidence based effort to understand the pathogenesis of post vaccine syndrome and long covid. Without a clear grasp of the underlying mechanisms, clinicians are left with uncertainty and unable to offer targeted effective interventions to the patients who need them most.” “Restoring the health and well-being of those injured by COVID-19 vaccines remains our top priority,” said Dr. Joel Wallskog, Co-Chair of React19. “Dr. Syed’s science-based approach will help educate both patients and providers, lighting the way for much-needed relief. His expertise and dedication will be instrumental in driving our mission forward.” React19, founded in 2021, has grown to support 36,000 members in the United States, offering resources such as the CARE Fund Program, which provides financial assistance for medical expenses to U.S. residents affected by vaccine injuries. The organization collaborates with partners like CrossTx and TrialSite to deliver innovative solutions, including a bi-directional referral network that connects patients with supportive clinicians, mental health professionals, and legal resources.
