Carter BloodCare donors are in luck this St. Patrick’s Day.

The blood center is giving a St. Patrick’s Day-themed T-shirt to each blood, platelet and plasma donor March 9 – 22. The green tee features a four-leafed clover within the slogan “Dublin Down on Saving Lives.”

Also, because of the need for the universal blood type, each O negative blood donor will receive a $50 e-gift card.

Every Carter BloodCare donor will receive a quilted tote bag, as well.

Residents can begin donating blood at age 16 with parental consent; those 17 and older can donate independently. It takes less than an hour to give blood that can save three lives.

To find a Carter BloodCare location and pick a time to donate, visit CarterBloodCare.org or call 800-366-2834.
