| By Vern Wuensche Any political party should focus on issues affecting all Americans. But if its first priority is retaining power, it will mobilize voters instead of educating them. Republicans focus primarily on issues; Democrats concentrate almost exclusively on retaining power. And Democrats doing that gives them a huge advantage in winning elections. They add to this advantage by being on one side or the other on an issue, whichever suits their purpose at the moment. Their focus is always on power. It works because the media will cover for them even though video evidence shows their duplicity. And Democrats focus totally on “messaging” and “optics” rather than on policy. It is the impression, not the reality, that they are concerned about to retain power. Yet messaging does nothing about inflation, an open border, chaos on our campuses, wars all over the world, and an America that is declining. All of this despite our system of government being set up by our founders to employ debate on issues to bring about positive change. If there is no give and take because one side stubbornly refuses to do any giving, the system breaks down and America does not improve. Which is where we are now. * Because the situation is so dire today with the destruction of America, Republicans should now change their focus from issues to mobilization. Even without the cheating that Democrats do every day, if Republicans did as good a job as Democrats in mobilizing voters, they would win easily. There are a number of things Republicans must do: Focus on preventing Democrat cheating. Democrats know they can only win by cheating, so they continually create new ways to do so. Anyone paying attention should realize that all illegal immigration is done to secure illegal votes or potential votes for Democrat candidates. Many states to administratively handle welfare payments to illegals give them a driver’s license. And with that driver’s license, they automatically register them to vote. So then, without voter ID being required of voters when voting—which Democrats always resist—Democrats have a vote harvesters dream of providing themselves with a massive number of votes for their candidate. Because of early voting in most states, they will begin in September and easily harvest many of the eight million—some say twenty million—votes of illegal aliens. Illegals who are flown in, according to data provided a few days ago on X, have a destination to mainly Republican held districts. Using their illegal votes there, Democrats plan to both win the presidency and take over Congress with these additional Republican districts. This plan is confirmed clearly in the data on the list on Austin, Texas, already a Democrat city, being sent the fewest number of illegals. Republicans must become much more vocal to the public to clarify what the Democrats are doing and use lawsuits whenever possible to prevent cheating. The national Republican Party and state parties should recruit an army of election monitors to oversee and control the validity of each and every ballot. Educate all voters on the actual Democrat policy on abortion. Because of their failure on every issue, Democrats have only one: abortion. They will focus all their energies on this as they know that many women voters will vote for them on this issue to the exclusion of all others. Republicans need to take Democrat’s focus on this issue head on. They should every day communicate to voters that the Democrat Party supports abortion even to the extent of killing a baby up until the moment of birth—and even an execution after birth if the parents so desire. Seventy percent of all voters, including many Democrats, do not support this position. As individuals, we should ourself advise those voters—particularly our friends who are generally inclined to vote for Democrats—that in voting for any Democrat, they are supporting the murdering of infants. Vote early to bank the votes. Democrats bank their early votes with ballot harvesting from September through November, which requires Republicans to overcome those numbers on election day. Republicans tend to vote more heavily on election day rather than vote early, probably because it makes it seem more special, and to them, it is. But this is probably a mistake, as many things, such as personal issues, health, transportation, bad weather, etc., could prevent their votes from being counted. Adding these up on a national basis swings close elections. I have long supported a one or two day holiday for voting with paper ballots with no early voting to reduce the opportunity for fraud. But we need to recognize that early voting exists, and until that is changed, we all need to reduce the Democrats’ advantage and vote early. Without a Republican victory in November America will be gone.
