Reparations Are a Statist Cudgel for Bludgeoning Property Owners By CLG Founder, Michael Rectenwald, Ph.D. | 16 March 2023 | (Opinion) San Francisco’s panel on reparations has issued a recommendation that qualified black residents in that city receive 5 million in reparations for the financial effects of slavery and/or racial discrimination. There was never slavery in the city of San Francisco, but the panel nevertheless suggested that city inhabitants must atone for racial discrimination. Such calls for reparations to black people are based on the notion of collective white guilt. But collective guilt is a false notion, and reparations based on it would violate the property rights of those whose ancestors gained nothing from slavery, even if such parties benefited from so-called discrimination… Just as class guilt is a fatally flawed concept, so too is race guilt. If one gained nothing from slaveholding or trading, one does not owe a debt to a nebulous class of slave descendants. The execution of reparations on the grounds of collective race guilt would amount to theft of property from the rightful holders of it.

Minnesota nuclear power plant leaked 400,000 gallons of radioactive water in November – and only now reveals it to the public –People outraged after learning Thursday about a radioactive leak in November | 17 March 2023 | Americans are in an uproar after learning Thursday about radioactive water leak at a Minnesota nuclear power plant that happened in November 2022. At least 400,000 gallons of radioactive water spilled from Xcel Energy’s Monticello facility on November 22, which came from a pipe between two buildings. The public is outraged by the silence on the matter, as it occurred months before the devastating East Palestine train derailment that released 1.6 million pounds of hazardous chemicals in Ohio. Regulators said Thursday they are monitoring clean up and there is no danger to the public. [Yeah, right!] The water contained tritium, which is a rare and radioactive isotope of hydrogen with half-life about 12 years.

U.S. and its ‘horrible’ leaders are greatest threat to Western civilization – Trump –The country has ‘never been closer’ to nuclear war, the former president said in a video, urging a ceasefire in Ukraine | 17 March 2023 | Former U.S. president Donald Trump slammed “globalists” and the American neoconservative establishment in a video posted to his social media accounts on Thursday, declaring that the U.S. and “some of the horrible, USA-hating people that represent us” are the “greatest threat to Western civilization today.” “These globalists want to squander all of America’s strength, blood and treasure, chasing monsters and phantoms overseas while keeping us distracted from the havoc they’re creating right here at home,” the 2024 presidential candidate explained. Trump warned that the Biden administration had brought the world closer to the brink of nuclear catastrophe than ever before by pouring m-ney and weapons into Ukraine. “Every day this proxy battle continues, we risk global war,” he insisted, arguing that a “total cessation of hostilities” should be the “central issue” for the nation. The next order of business under a second Trump presidency would be a complete overhaul of the State Department, Pentagon, intelligence services, and other key agencies to “fire the Deep Staters and put America first” — followed by “fundamentally reevaluating NATO’s purpose and NATO’s mission.”
U.S. ‘obviously’ blew up Nord Stream – French politician –Norway also had a profit motive to join the alleged American plot, Florian Philippot has claimed | 17 March 2023 | French political party leader Florian Philippot believes it has long been obvious that the U.S. was behind last year’s sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines, which were built to deliver Russian natural gas to Western Europe. “Even before the war in Ukraine, the US for years fought against Nord Stream, it was a permanent part of their policy,” he told RIA Novosti in an interview published on Friday. “In early February 2022, [Joe] Biden said the Americans could make it so that the pipeline was no more. That’s what happened. And it was in the interest of the Americans,” according to Philippot, who heads the right-wing The Patriots party in France… Philippot also urged France to leave NATO, saying the military alliance “needs to be disbanded because it has no reason to exist.” “We have to stop this agenda of world war against Russia and China, it is absolutely insane,” he told the Russian news outlet, blaming the U.S. for increasing global tensions.
Explosive devices found at Russian pipeline – Transneft –The oil transport company says it has uncovered evidence of a plot to attack the connector supplying oil to western European markets | 16 March 2023 | Workers at the Russian oil pipeline transport company Transneft have reportedly found several explosive devices at the Novozybkov oil-pumping station of its Druzhba pipeline in the Bryansk region near Ukraine, according to company spokesperson Igor Demin. Speaking to TASS, he stated that on Tuesday evening and on Wednesday morning, the devices were found in destroyed plastic cases of “non-industrial production” with a striking warhead in the form of steel balls. “Presumably, the destruction of the cases occurred after hitting the ground when falling from drones,” Demin suggested. He added that on Wednesday afternoon another explosive device was seen being dropped from a UAV, “likely similar to the other two [devices].”

Trump could be indicted as early as next week, according to five senior officials familiar with the discussions. Law enforcement agencies are conducting preliminary security assessments, the officials say, and are discussing potential security plans for in and around the Manhattan Criminal Court at 100 Centre Street in case Trump is charged in connection with an alleged hush m-ney payment to Stormy Daniels and travels to New York to face any charges. The officials stress that the interagency conversations and planning are precautionary in nature because no charges have been filed. The agencies involved include the NYPD, New York State Court Officers, the U.S. Secret Service, the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force, and the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, officials say.
Manhattan DA’s office ‘asked for a meeting’ with law enforcement ahead of possible Trump indictment –The court source said that ‘they are anticipating an indictment next week’ | 17 March 2023 | The Manhattan District Attorney’s office has asked for a meeting with law enforcement ahead of a possible indictment of former President Donald Trump next week, according to a court source. According to the source, the meeting was requested Thursday and hasn’t been set. The meeting is to “discuss logistics for some time next week, which would mean that they are anticipating an indictment next week,” the source familiar with the planning said. Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung reacted to the news by ripping district attorney Alvin Bragg in a statement to Fox News Digital, calling his investigation a “witch hunt” and accusing him of being in the pocket of Joe Biden and “radical Democrats.” “President Donald J. Trump is completely innocent, he did nothing wrong, and even the biggest, most Radical Left Democrats are making that clear,” Cheung said. “From Russia, Russia, Russia, to the Mueller Hoax, to Impeachment Hoaxes 1 and 2, and even the Unlawful Mar-a-Lago Raid, Democrats have investigated and attacked President Trump since before he was elected – and they’ve failed every time.”

New York man who supported ISIS arrested in alleged plot to kill cops, mayor during St. Patrick’s Day parade | 17 March 2023 | A New York man who expressed support online for the Islamic State is charged with plotting to kill police officers and threatening to kill a mayor on the street where the local St. Patrick’s Day parade was slated to be held, federal prosecutors said Friday. Ridon Kola, 32, was arrested and charged with making threatening interstate communications, the Justice Department said. “As alleged, Ridon Kola posted threats on social media against law enforcement, stating his support for ISIS [I-CIA-SIS] and his intention to murder numerous police officers. Undeterred after questioning from law enforcement, Kola’s conduct escalated, as he continued to assure police his threats would be carried out,” U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said in a statement.
EPA orders states to accept waste from Ohio train derailment site | 17 March 2023 | The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency ordered states with approved and available toxic waste facilities to accept materials transported from the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio. The move, announced by EPA director Michael Regan at a news conference Friday morning, comes after governors in Oklahoma, Michigan and other states have recently turned away shipments. The EPA also ordered Norfolk Southern to move faster to get the toxic waste out of the area. The two new EPA orders requires Norfolk Southern to speed up the removal process and requires contractors to take legal action against EPA-licensed disposal facilities that refuse to honor their contracts. Every state has been notified that states cannot stop shipments of out-of-state waste from East Palestine, Regan said.
FDA approves COVID boosters for 6-month-olds, citing trial with just 24 patients –One prominent jab critic called it a ‘new low’ for the FDA. | 17 March 2023 | The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) is approving booster doses of Pfizer’s COVID-19 shot for children as young as six months based on a trial of just 24 patients. The FDA announced March 14 that it is amending its emergency use authorization (EUA) for the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, Bivalent, to allow a single booster dose for children between six months and four years, at least two months after being initially vaccinated… Buried in the press release, however, was the revelation that “among individuals 6 months of age and older, safety was assessed in participants in two clinical studies,” and that for the 6-23 months age group there were only 24 participants. The 2-4 year age group had 36. Medical freedom attorney and COVID vaccine critic Aaron Siri called it a “new low” for the FDA to make its decision based on such limited data.
DOD spends nearly $50 million a year ‘to do nothing’ with Trump’s border wall materials, drawing GOP backlash –DOD is spending around 130,000 a day to store materials after Biden canceled Trump’s border wall construction project | 16 March 2023 | The Biden administration spends about 130,000 per day to store and maintain unused border wall panels at the southern border, and Senate Republicans are demanding answers. Republican members of the Senate Armed Forces Committee — using details provided to them in a request for information to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) — sent a letter Wednesday evening to the Defense Department asking why nearly 50 million is being spent each year to store the Trump-era border materials. Led by ranking member Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss., and signed by Texas Sens. Ted Cruz and John Cornyn, along with nearly every other Republican on the committee, the senators wrote that they “are disturbed to learn the Department of Defense is paying private landowners to store border wall materials procured under the Trump Administration instead of fortifying the southern border with those materials.”
Stanford law school descends into Orwellian nightmare as woke students dressed in black masks line halls demanding their ‘counter speech’ be protected after dean apologized to conservative judge for being heckled –On Monday, the dean found her classroom whiteboard covered in fliers saying ‘Where was his apology?’ and she was herself confronted by masked students | 14 March 2023 | Stanford Law School’s dean had her classroom whiteboard pasted over with protest posters and found herself confronted by silent masked students on Monday, after she apologized to a conservative judge who was invited to speak at the university, and then heckled into silence. Jenny Martinez, the dean, apologized to Judge Kyle Duncan for the March 9 incident on campus. Duncan, appointed by Donald Trump, demanded an apology after he was invited to speak, only to be berated by a pious dean while students shouted abuse at him. On Monday, students made their displeasure at her apology clear, papering over her whiteboard with printed signs that read: “We have free speech rights too,” “Where is our apology?” and “Counter-speech is free speech.” At the end of the class, Martinez left the room to be confronted with a corridor lined with law students wearing black masks that read: “Counter-speech is free speech.”
Federal Reserve to Raise Interest Rates 25 Basis Points Amid Banking Crisis | 17 March 2023 | The Federal Reserve is expected to raise interest rates another 25 basis points — or 0.25% next week amid the banking crisis. Two U.S. banks failed in the last week after they were unable to produce enough cash for depositors. Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank collapsed within the last week. Moody’s cut the outlook for the entire U.S. banking sector after the banks failed. The banking crisis stems from the Federal Reserve’s decision to hike interest rates seven times in 2022. [Not to mention, corrupt imbeciles running these banks, forking over billions to promote the WEF’s agenda.]
