LONGVIEW, March 23, 2022 – Bethany Nolan with Nolan Properties LLC, has been announced as a member of the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) 30 Under 30 Class of 2022. More than 300 young real estate practitioners applied for 30 Under 30 this year and Nolan was selected among 29 other Realtors in the nation. Whether they’re educating underserved populations on the homebuying process, taking a professional leap by starting their own brokerage, proving their expertise to land investor clients, or advocating for mental health resources, this year’s class of 30 Under 30 have proven that they put 100% of their effort into every challenge they undertake.
Nolan, 29, has been in the real estate industry since August 2017 and has served the East Texas Area since day one. She specializes in first-time home buyers and residential real estate. As a millennial, she utilizes her social media platforms to educate and inform potential clientele about the home buying and selling process from beginning to end. Nolan utilizes videos, stories and posts as educational and storytelling tools. In 2020, her family started their own brokerage, Nolan Properties LLC.
Involvement in the community is also a key pillar for Nolan. Within her local community of Gilmer – she is a member of the Rotary Club of Gilmer, served as a founding member of the Gilmer Downtown Association to help with efforts of revitalizing our downtown area, a member of the Gilmer Area Chamber of Commerce, serve as a chair and founding member on the Cherokee Rose Festival, Gilmer FFA Alumni, and is a contributing board member of the Gilmer ISD Foundation and the East Texas Yamboree Association. As a realtor, Nolan also volunteers her time as a board member on the Longview Associationof Realtors as their Technology Committee Chair. Her biggest community project to date is the Buckeye Clothes Closet that she founded for Gilmer ISD at the high school. The Clothes Closet is an anonymous shopping process that only educators can take students into. It’s based on donations of clothes that are carefully sifted through and is on-campus so that students do not have to leave school in order to have fresh clothes. Her goal is to expand this to the other campuses throughout the next five years and eventually expand it to other school districts in the area.
The National Association of Realtors® bases its selections on a variety of factors. Each year, judges look for applicants who demonstrate business success, professional leadership, community involvement, compelling stories, and geographic and ethnic diversity. More than 300 young real estate practitioners applied for 30 Under 30 this year. In early March, a panel of judges narrowed the field to 50 finalists. Finalists were announced March 21, 2022. The mission of 30 Under 30 is to recognize young members of the National Association of REALTORS® who are doing extraordinary things in their businesses, associations, and communities in every part of the country.
