Bryan, TX (January, 7th) – The Local at Lake Walk is excited to announce its 2025 schedule of events, continuing its tradition as a premier outdoor market featuring artisans, producers, and crafters from across Texas. The Local offers a vibrant community experience with a diverse lineup of vendors, live music, and family-friendly activities.

From January through April and September through November, events will take place from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. During the summer months of May through August, The Local transforms into a Night Bazaar, running from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, offering a unique evening shopping experience.
Celebrating Art and Community
The Local is more than a market—it is a celebration of creativity and connection that inspires, cultivating the maker in us all. Each event showcases the beauty and importance of art within our community, offering a platform for artisans to share their stories, experiences, and passions through their creations.
As part of its commitment to uplifting artists, The Local is excited to introduce this year’s limited-edition tote bag featuring the theme: “Life is Art .” ” . This year’s design was created by Hannah Ferguson, a local artist whose work reflects her belief that art mirrors life’s journey—transforming ordinary experiences into meaningful expressions. Hannah’s design encapsulates how the stories of each artisan motivate their creative journey and inspire us to create new stories in our own lives. Limited-edition Life is Art tote bags will be available at each market of The Local this year ,offering visitors a chance to support local art and carry a piece of the event’s inspiration wherever they go.
The Local is held outdoors at The Pavilion at Lake Walk, located at 4107 Lake Atlas Drive, Bryan, Texas 77807. This event is free to attend and is pet-friendly; leashed pets are welcome to join in on the festivities. Each market features a rotating selection of vendors offering handmade goods, including fresh foods, homemade soaps, handcrafted jewelry, and more. Attendees can enjoy shopping, lake views, and a walkable experience throughout Lake Walk.
