BRYAN, TEXAS, September 9, 2026 – The 2026 Round Top Rally™ has officially sold out more than two weeks ahead of its September 27 return, filling the limited field for the third annual driving experience hosted by The Gentleman Racer® and presented by GFG Wealth Advisors.
Designed as an alternative to massive car shows and large-scale road rallies, Round Top Rally intentionally keeps participation limited, creating a more personal experience built around great roads, interesting automobiles, local food, art, history, and the culture of Central Texas.
“We never designed Round Top Rally to be a massive event,” said Michael Satterfield, founder of The Gentleman Racer. “The idea was to get a small group of interesting people and interesting cars together, find some of the best roads in Texas, and build a day around the places and people that make this part of the state special. Selling out this far ahead of the rally tells us there is real demand for smaller, more thoughtful automotive experiences.”
The September 27 rally will bring together a curated field of enthusiast vehicles for a half-day journey through the countryside between Bryan-College Station and Round Top. Participants will follow a specially selected route along rural Texas roads and visit destinations that highlight the region’s history, art, and distinctive character.
Rather than focusing exclusively on exotic or high-dollar automobiles, Round Top Rally has developed a reputation for bringing together an eclectic mix of vehicles and owners united by a shared enthusiasm for driving. Previous rallies have featured everything from vintage European sports cars and American classics to modern Porsches, McLarens, Ferraris, and other performance cars.
The event was first launched in 2024 as part of The Gentleman Racer’s Wheels | Watches | Whiskey® weekend. The inaugural rally departed from The Stella Hotel in Bryan, then traveled through Independence and on to Round Top, where participants enjoyed local restaurants, shops, galleries, and cultural destinations.
By 2025, the rally had grown into an established part of the weekend, with classic, sports, and supercars taking part. Standout vehicles included a Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing and a Singer-restored Porsche, alongside a diverse field of enthusiast cars traveling the winding backroads of Central Texas.
That diversity remains central to the event.
“Car culture is at its best when the cars become the excuse to bring people together,” Satterfield said. “Somebody might arrive in a car worth several hundred thousand dollars and spend lunch talking with someone driving a car they have owned for twenty years. Once you get everyone out on the road, the badge on the hood becomes a lot less important than the experience.”
The 2026 Round Top Rally is presented by GFG Wealth Advisors, a family-owned wealth management firm based in College Station with more than 30 years of experience serving clients and families.
Round Top Rally follows Wheels | Watches | Whiskey®, taking place Saturday, September 26, at The Stella Hotel and Lake Walk in Bryan. Together, the events create a weekend centered on automobiles, craftsmanship, hospitality, and the culture surrounding enthusiast motoring.
Registration for the 2026 Round Top Rally is now closed. Information about future Round Top Rally events and other driving experiences from The Gentleman Racer will be announced at TheGentlemanRacer.com.
