Registration Open for UT Health East Texas Breast Cancer Survivor Summit
Tyler, Texas (July 29, 2026) — Registration is open for the UT Health East Texas Breast Cancer Survivor Summit. The event will be held Saturday, Sept. 19, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Green Acres Baptist Church Crosswalk Conference Center in Tyler. This year’s theme is “Bloom Beyond the Battle.”
The summit will celebrate the strength and resilience of breast cancer survivors. The most common cancer diagnosed among U.S. women, breast cancer accounts for 32% of all newly diagnosed cancers in women, and more than 4 million women in the U.S. are living with a history of the disease, whether in treatment or survivorship.
The summit will feature a physician panel with expert insights, a panel discussing thriving as a survivor, vendors and resources for survivors, a breakfast buffet, door prizes, fellowship opportunities and more.
The event is free to attend, but registration is required as seating is limited. Each survivor may bring one registered guest over the age of 18. In keeping with the theme, attendees are encouraged to wear something floral.
