| Tyler’s annual Fourth of July Fireworks Festival is getting a new home in 2026, as The Park of East Texas officially takes over hosting for the long-standing community celebration, previously held at Lindsey Park. The event will take place on Saturday, July 4 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM and will remain free and open to the public, continuing the traditions families have come to expect. Guests can look forward to an evening filled with food trucks, local vendors, family-friendly activities, and a fireworks show to finish off the night. In celebration of the nation’s 250-year milestone, this year’s festival will feature expanded entertainment, including a live band and additional activities designed to create an even more memorable experience for attendees. “We’re excited to continue this tradition for the Tyler community,” said Cody Rosenbalm, President/CEO of The Park of East Texas. “By bringing the event to The Park, we’re able to build on what people already love while adding more entertainment and space to celebrate this historic 250th anniversary of our country.” The transition from Lindsey Park to The Park of East Texas ensures the continuation of a cherished community event while providing room for growth. With its flexible layout and capacity to host large-scale events, The Park offers an ideal setting for an expanded celebration. Community members are encouraged to bring their families, enjoy the festivities, and celebrate Independence Day together in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment.
