Gov. Greg Abbott’s office has threatened to cut state funding to three of Texas’ largest cities if they don’t fail to fully cooperate with federal immigration enforcement. This is the latest in a long-running feud between the state’s biggest, bluest cities and the red state government, over a host of issues ranging from plastic bags to marijuana and bail reform.
