UT Health East Texas Physicians Announces Clinic Closures Due to Weather
Tyler, Texas (January 24, 2026) — Due to winter weather conditions, all UT Health East Texas Physicians clinics and urgent cares will be closed Sunday to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
Patients who need care during this time are encouraged to use on-demand video visits, which will be available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. To start a video visit, please visit https://uthealtheasttexas.com/patients-and-visitors/video-visit/
In addition, the following UT Health East Texas Physicians clinics will be closed on Monday for the safety of patients and staff:
- UT Health East Texas HOPE Cancer Center in Athens
- UT Health East Texas Heart & Vascular Institute – Cardiology in Athens
- UT Health East Texas Physicians – Pain Management in Gun Barrel City
- UT Health East Texas Heart & Vascular Institute – Cardiology in Pittsburg
