UT Health East Texas Physicians Welcomes Emad Al Rawashdeh, MD, to Tyler

Tyler, Texas (August 20, 2025) — UT Health East Texas Physicians is expanding neurologic services in Tyler with the addition of Emad Al Rawashdeh, MD.

Dr. Al Rawashdeh is a board-certified neurologist specializing in epilepsy. He is dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate care for adults 18 years and older.

“I believe every patient deserves a tailored approach that respects their unique medical history, lifestyle and goals,” he said. “My goal is to offer not only effective seizure control, but also hope, empowerment and a clear path toward living well with epilepsy.”

Dr. Al Rawashdeh said his path into healthcare was driven by a desire to give back to underserved communities and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. He chose to focus on epilepsy because it is a deeply personal condition, and many patients are not aware of all the possible treatment options beyond medical management, including surgical evaluation and neuromodulation.

Dr. Al Rawashdeh is welcoming patients at 11937 US Hwy. 271, in Tyler. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 903-877-7177.
