UT Tyler Ranked in Top 200 Best Undergraduate Nursing Programs in U.S.
TYLER, Texas (September 28, 2026) – U.S. News and World Report ranked The University of Texas at Tyler’s School of Nursing among the nation’s top 200 undergraduate nursing programs, placing it in the top 22% of accredited baccalaureate programs in the state.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, from 2025–2035, employment for registered nurses is projected to grow at twice the national average, with advanced nursing roles projected to expand at 12 times the national average.

The UT Tyler School of Nursing offers three undergraduate tracks: a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, RN to BSN, and a concurrent Associate Degree in Nursing and BSN. These programs blend dynamic online coursework with hands-on clinical experience, offering both full-time and part-time plans with competitive tuition rates.
