FINE ARTS LECTURE AT LETOURNEAU UNIVERSITY
(Longview, Texas)—LeTourneau University’s Fall 2026 Fine Arts & Humanities Lecture Series will continue with a lecture titled “The Impact of Photography on Society.” (Poster below)
The lecture will be held on Tuesday, October 13 at 11:00 AM in the Berry Auditorium of the Glaske Center for Engineering, Science & Technology on the LeTourneau University campus.
Mr. Marc Bailey, Adjunct Professor of Photography at LeTourneau University, will discuss how photographs have profoundly impacted history by replacing subjective illustrations with an objective visual record, humanizing distant events, and serving as a catalyst for sweeping social and political change.
Mr. Bailey has over 30 years of professional experience in all aspects of photography, and is a master of landscape, macro, architecture, fashion, set design, lighting, and location photography. He is certified with the Professional Photographers of America, and his Longview studio won the Small Business of the year in 2010 and the National Blue-Ribbon Business of the year in 2011.
