Texans are spending considerably more on the necessities than they used to, and incomes haven’t kept up. As candidates in the midterms pitch themselves as the one to rein in higher costs, we want to hear from Texans about how those higher costs affect you.

Have you had trouble finding a home you can afford without breaking your budget? Are groceries and child care taking a bite out of your paycheck? Is it more expensive now to insure your home? Have you had to put off going to the doctor or taking a vacation to make ends meet?
