AUSTIN – Everything is coming up seven for Texas Lottery® players with the launch of the Lucky 7 family of scratch ticket games, which launched Aug. 31. Available at Texas Lottery retailers statewide, the new games offer more than $366 million in total cash prizes, top prizes ranging from $200,000 to $2.5 million, and more than 7.9 million winning tickets across four price points ($5, $10, $20, and $50).
“The Lucky 7 family of games gives our players variety, high-tier top prizes, and millions of winning tickets across multiple price points,” said Courtney Arbour, executive director of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), which oversees the Texas Lottery. “These games are designed to be entertaining and stand out at retail, and we’re hopeful they’ll help us get the new fiscal year off to a strong start generating important revenue for public education across Texas. The Lucky 7 family includes the following games:
Lucky 7 ($5): Features 20 chances to win on every ticket, more than $38.1 million in total cash prizes and over 2.6 million winning tickets, including four top prizes of $200,000.
Lucky 7 Doubler ($10): Includes more than 2.1 million winning tickets, 25 chances to win on every ticket and more than $56.7 million in total prizes, including four top prizes of $500,000.
Lucky 7 Tripler ($20): Gives players 30 chances to win on every ticket, with more than $91.6 million in total cash prizes across over 1.7 million winning tickets, including four top prizes of $1 million.
Lucky 7 Multiplier ($50): The premier game in the family contains more than $179.7 million in total prizes and over 1.4 million winning tickets, with 35 chances to win on every ticket and four top prizes of $2.5 million.
