LORENTZ Field Days Showcase High-Capacity Solar Water Irrigation in the Texas Panhandle

LORENTZ Field Days, held August 11–12, 2026, at 3C Coleman Ranch near Briscoe, Texas, highlighted the power and performance of high-capacity solar water irrigation in the heart of the Texas Panhandle. The two-day event brought together agricultural professionals, farmers, ranchers, water conservationists, and water well contractors from across the region to experience the LORENTZ Solar Water Irrigation System in action. The system operating at 3C Coleman Ranch is the first of its kind in the Great Plains, the second solar irrigation well in the United States, and the first in Texas. Delivering an impressive 700–1,000 gallons per minute, it provides abundant, reliable water for pasture and livestock while significantly reducing energy costs. This new technology represents the wave of the future in irrigation—combining dependable water delivery with the power of solar energy to support productive, resilient agricultural operations.

Attendees saw firsthand how LORENTZ solar irrigation solutions drive real results: energy savings, improved water use efficiency, increased forage production, healthier and more resilient grasses, better irrigation management, water conservation, and a strong return on investment. These benefits empower landowners to build more sustainable, productive operations for today and future generations.
