Public Notification of Nondiscrimination in Career and Technology

Gilmer ISD offers career and technology education programs in Agricultural Food and Natural Resources, Business and Finance; Hospitality and Tourism; Auto Technology; Graphic Design and IT; Education and Training; Health Care Services. Admission to these programs is based on interest, aptitude, age appropriateness, grade level, class space availability and prerequisite studies.

It is the policy of Gilmer ISD not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex or handicap in its vocational programs, services or activites and provides equal access to the Boy Scouts and other designated youth groups as required by Title VI of the Civial Rights Act of 1964, as amended; Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972; and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended.
