Gilmer Athlete Breaks Record at AAU Junior Olympic Games
A Gilmer, TX track and field athlete, Chandler Else, broke an AAU Junior Olympic Games Record at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa, on August 5, 2026.
Else broke the 10 year-old Boys 200m record with a time of 25.03. The record was previously set by Omar Thomas out of Florida in 2021.
