NOTICE OF BUDGET HEARING

The City Council of the City of Pittsburg will conduct a Public Hearing to consider the proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2026/2027. This Public Hearing will be held in the City Council Chamber at 200 Rusk Street on August 10, 2026, at 4:00 P.M. This hearing will be held in accordance with the Local Government Code and the public is invited to attend and make comments on the proposed budget.

This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by $110,095.3921 or 5.7263% and of that amount $11,310.137 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.
A copy of the proposed budget is on file in the office of the City Secretary at City Hall, 200 Rusk Street, and can be found in the Financial Transparency section of the city’s website at www.pittsburgtx.gov.
