Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Atlanta District Roadwork Report for Week of July 5 – July 11
Bowie County
- Interstate 30 (I-30) – From Farm to Market road (FM) 989/Kings Highway to Arkansas state line, widening highway. Westbound lanes back to traditional, two-lane traffic pattern. Westbound entrance & exit ramps open.
- Traveling I-30 eastbound:
- Exit 217 to access Kings Highway & FM 2148.
- Lanes split.
- Exit 218 for local access east of Pecan Street.
- Left thru lane, no option to exit.

- Traveling to I-30 eastbound from Interstate 369 / U.S. Highway (U.S.) 59 / State Loop (SL) 151:
- Exit 114B / Richmond Road for local access.
- Eastbound I-30 connector bridge, no option to exit.

- FM 989/Kings Highway — at I-30. Bridge replacement. Traffic detoured.
- I-30 — From FM 989 to FM 3419, extension of frontage roads. Pavement operations on Hampton Road, lane closure. FM 2148 underpass open. Turnaround bridge at FM 3419 open. Interstate westbound entrance ramp west of Kings Highway open.
- U.S. 82 — From U.S. 259 to I-30, widening road. I-30 at U.S. 82 eastbound exit ramp closed. Intersection of West Grizzly and FM 1701 closed. FM 992 south at U.S. 82 intersection closed for three weeks. Detour signs in place.
- U.S. 82 — From U.S. 259 to Red River County line, widening road. Daytime lane closure with traffic signal.
- I-30 at FM 2253 — I-30 eastbound Exit 213 / FM 2253, pavement operations scheduled for Tuesday, July 7. Exit closed during work.
- U.S. 67 — From about 1 mile east of FM 991 west to FM 3098, seal coat operations. Lane closures.
Camp County
- U.S. 271 — From SL 179 to Business 271H, road rehabilitation. Lane, shoulder closures.
- State Highway (SH) 11 — From south of railroad to U.S. 271, road rehabilitation. Work to take place between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m., lane shoulder closures.
Cass County
- SH 49 – From SH 155 to Marion County line, road rehab. SH 49 closed to thru traffic from SH 155 to FM 729, detour in place.
- U.S. 59 – From SH 155 to Marion County line, concrete pavement repair. Daytime lane closures.
- U.S. 77 – From SH 8 to U.S. 59 – seal coat operations. Lane closures.
Harrison County
- Interstate 20 – From FM 450 to SH 43. Resurfacing westbound lanes. Possible lane closures.
- County Road (CR) 1301 (Cargill Road) – At Eight Mile Creek. Bridge replacement. CR 1301 open to traffic.
- FM 1998 – Closed between SL 390 and FM 2199. Culvert replacement, detour in place, local traffic only.
Marion County
- SH 155 – At Lake O’ The Pines, replacing bridge. Traffic shifted; lane and should closures.
- SH 49 – From Cass County line to FM 1969, road rehab. SH 49 closed to thru traffic from FM 729 to SH 155, detour in place.
- U.S. 59 – From Cass County line to SH 49, concrete pavement repair. Daytime lane closures.
Panola County
- U.S. 59 – At FM 1794, constructing interchange.
- CR 4354 – At McFaddin Creek. Bridge replacement, detour in place.
- FM 699 – 0.4 miles north of FM 2517, culvert replacement.
Titus County
- U.S. 271 – At Dickson Creek, Big Slough Creek, White Oak Creek & White Oak Creek Relief, replacing bridges. Traffic shifted.
- FM 2348 —At SH 49, intersection improvements, traffic detoured.
- SH 11 — At Big Cypress Creek, bridge preventative maintenance. Daytime lane closures.
Upshur County
- SH 155 – At Lake O’ The Pines, replacing bridge. Traffic shift, lane and shoulder closures.
- SH 300 – From U.S. 271 to FM 3358 S, road rehab. Mobile operations.
- SH 155 – From U.S. 80 to U.S. 271, safety treating fixed objects. Daytime lane closures.
