Kilgore College student-athletes earn NJCAA, Region XIV academic honors
Kilgore College student-athletes earned multiple conference and national academic honors during the 2025-26 academic year, including recognition from the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and Region XIV.
A total of 15 KC student-athletes were named NJCAA Academic All-Americans. The honor is awarded to student-athletes who achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.60 or higher.
Three Ranger athletic programs also received NJCAA Academic Team recognition based on team grade point averages:
- Men’s Basketball: 3.49 GPA
- Softball: 3.39 GPA
- Women’s Basketball: 3.26 GPA
In addition, 32 KC student-athletes were named to the Region XIV All-Academic Team. The recognition is awarded to student-athletes who meet academic achievement requirements established by the conference.
Region XIV All-Academic Team honorees included:
- Football: 8 student-athletes
- Softball: 13 student-athletes
- Women’s Basketball: 5 student-athletes
- Men’s Basketball: 6 student-athletes
The academic honors recognize student-athletes for their achievements in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year.
