The Laughs Return: Laugh Out Longview Improv Festival Brings Statewide, National Talent to Longview

LONGVIEW, Texas — The laughs are coming back to East Texas. The Laugh Out Longview (LOL) Improv Festival officially returns June 26 and 27, 2026, bringing a multi-day weekend of comedy and creativity to Longview.

 

This year’s festival returns to the Longview Museum of Fine Arts (215 E. Tyler St.), located in the Downtown Cultural Arts District. A production of Theatre Longview, the festival brings together standout regional teams, special guest troupes, and a premier national headliner for an unforgettable weekend of spontaneous live entertainment.

 

2026 Festival Headliner

• Improvised Broadway — A one-of-a-kind theatrical centerpiece featuring veteran performers and musicians whose credits span Second City, national touring companies, major regional theaters, and international comedy festivals. The ensemble creates a fully original, Broadway-style musical completely on the spot—complete with show-stopping songs, hilarious characters, dazzling storytelling, and live musical accompaniment inspired entirely by audience suggestions. As the troupe says: “It’s spontaneous. It’s spectacular. It’s Broadway—without the script.”
