WARRANT AMNESTY PROGRAM
CITY OF GILMER 2026

The City of Gilmer Municipal Court’s warrant amnesty program will be available from April 1 through May 31, 2026 offering those with outstanding warrants an opportunity to resolve cases and save on their costs.
During the amnesty program, all warrant fees will be removed when someone voluntarily contacts the court to pay at least half the total amount due and start a payment plan for the remaining balance.
The City of Gilmer Municipal Court encourages anyone with an active, outstanding warrant to take this chance to save money. No defendant will be arrested if they voluntarily come into the Gilmer Municipal Court from April 01, 2026 through May 31, 2026, to make appropriate arrangements.
The Court will also offer assistance to those who are unable to pay at least half their balance. Court staff will work with individuals to create an agreeable action plan for anyone willing to clear up their warrants.
