Make waves with Carter BloodCare’s donor beach towels in May

Carter BloodCare is throwing in the towel. A beach towel, to be exact.

Everyone who donates blood with Carter BloodCare in May will receive a 2026 beach towel, while supplies last. This year’s design of the popular annual item features a blue-and-green tropical display emblazoned with the word “Lifesaver.”

Health officials with Texas-based Carter BloodCare note all blood types are currently needed, especially O negative, the universal blood type used to treat any patient. This month, as an additional thank-you for giving, Carter BloodCare is offering O negative blood donors a $50 e-gift card.

Donating at Carter BloodCare blood drives supports severe trauma patients, people fighting cancer, burn patients, older Texans with age-related health issues, mothers having pregnancy complications, and many other neighbors in need.
