Get excited! In just 100 days, America will mark a historic milestone, our nation’s 250th birthday on July 4th, 2026.

America250 is leading this once-in-a-generation commemoration, bringing together communities, partners, and organizations across the country to celebrate our shared history and shape the next chapter of the American story.

A Nationwide Celebration Begins

This year’s Fourth of July will be unlike any other! America250 is launching the largest synchronized Fourth of July celebration in our nation’s history, and today, we’re unveiling the first official locations for America’s Block Party.

From iconic cities to beloved hometown traditions, these celebrations will be anchored in live music, community gatherings, and shared national pride:

• New York City: A historic Times Square Ball Drop on July 3, marking the first-ever July 4th countdown

• Los Angeles: A star-studded concert at the LA Memorial Coliseum

• Milwaukee: Summerfest joins the celebration along Lake Michigan

• Fort Campbell, Kentucky: A special celebration honoring military families

• Charleston, South Carolina: A waterfront Independence Day celebration

And this is just the beginning! More cities and moments will be announced in the weeks ahead.

Coming Together Coast-to-Coast

America’s Block Party is a nationwide invitation to celebrate locally and connect nationally. On July 3 and 4, 2026, communities across all 56 states and territories will come together, through neighborhood gatherings, major concerts, and shared experiences — to create one unified, coast-to-coast celebration.

Whether you attend one of these marquee events, join a local gathering, or tune in via national livestream, you’re part of something bigger: a moment that brings millions of Americans together through music, service, storytelling, and civic spirit.
