UT Health East Texas Physicians Welcomes Monica Kovuri, MD, to Lindale

Lindale, Texas (February 26, 2026) — UT Health East Texas Physicians is expanding internal medicine services in Lindale with the addition of Monica Kovuri, MD.

 

“I believe in evidence-based and patient-centered care that focuses on long-term wellness and prevention,” Kovuri said. “My approach to care focuses on open communication and shared decision-making. Every patient is unique and I strive to help them understand their health conditions and work closely to ensure that their personal values and goals are fully considered when making healthcare decisions.”

 

Dr. Kovuri’s special areas of medical interest include obesity and weight management, preventive medicine and chronic disease management. She provides comprehensive adult primary care including chronic disease management, preventive services, care coordination and diagnostic evaluations.
