Jobs Y’all East Texas Career Exploration Fair Helps Prepare the Next Generation of East Texas Talent

HENDERSON, TX — Workforce Solutions East Texas will host the Jobs Y’all East Texas Career Exploration Fair on Wednesday, February 11, at the Henderson Civic Center, 1500 Lake Forest Parkway, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The event will connect hundreds of local high school juniors and seniors with the industries shaping East Texas’ economy. Students will explore high-demand careers, meet local employers, and learn about the skills and training needed to enter today’s workforce.

The fair is closed to the public and open only to registered high schools and participating employers.

Students will take part in:

  • Hands-on demonstrations
  • Interactive career stations
  • Industry exhibits
  • Conversations with local employers

Employers will represent fields including advanced manufacturing, healthcare, information technology, skilled trades, public service, energy, transportation, and logistics.

 

The event supports regional workforce development efforts by strengthening talent pipelines and helping students make informed career decisions early. Local partners continue to work together to prepare the next generation of East Texas workers and support long-term economic growth.
