TDLR Protects the Public with License Revocations and Lifetime Bans in Massage Therapy Program
Complete online database of revoked licenses and TDLR administrative penalties available
AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) maintains a database of all violations that resulted in administrative orders during the past two years – including penalties and license revocations and suspensions, as well as people who have been issued cease and desist orders because of unlicensed activity.
TDLR cares about consumer health and safety, and the department performs inspection and enforcement activities to ensure that licensees perform services in a safe and competent manner. TDLR urges consumers to check whether service professionals are properly licensed and in good standing with the department.
Most licensees are happy to provide their license number and for many professionals their license should be posted in public view. If they are reluctant to share it with you, you may want to find another service provider who is willing to validate they are licensed.
Please report unlicensed activity or file a complaint when services by TDLR licensees are not provided in a safe and competent manner. Below, please find a summary of license sanction actions by the department, whose outcome is based upon the specific facts and circumstances of each case.
