PUBLIC NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Gilmer, Texas, at a meeting held on the 9th day of December 2025, passed Ordinance No. 25-062, which adopted and enacted a comprehensive codification and revision of the City’s Ordinances providing for the repeal of certain ordinances not included therein; providing a penalty for the violation thereof; providing for the manner of amending such code; and providing when such code and this ordinance shall become effective. The purpose of this ordinance is to compile all existing ordinances into a current, organized, and accessible Code of Ordinances. The newly adopted Code of Ordinances shall have the force and effect of an ordinance regularly adopted in accordance with law. The full text of the Code will not be published in the newspaper. A copy of the full text of the Code of Ordinances is for public inspection and review at the office of the City Secretary at 110 Buffalo St, Gilmer, Texas during regular business hours: 8am-4:30pm.
