UT Health East Texas Physicians Welcomes Kenneth Hamby, DO, to Hideaway Lake

Lindale, Texas (December 9, 2025) — UT Health East Texas Physicians is expanding family medicine services at Hideaway Lake with the addition of Kenneth Hamby, DO.

 

Dr. Hamby is a board-certified osteopathic family physician with more than 20 years of experience who focuses on building relationships with patients based on trust and respect.

 

“I treat the whole person, not just specific illnesses, considering each patient’s unique circumstances, preferences and values when making diagnostic and treatment decisions,” Dr. Hamby said. “I am passionate about preventing illness, promoting wellness and providing personalized guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This includes routine checkups, health screenings, immunizations and counseling to support long-term health.”

 

Dr. Hamby said he was drawn to family medicine because it allows him to treat a variety of conditions and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

 

“I help patients achieve their health goals through preventive care and individualized treatment plans,” he said. “My special interests include geriatrics, hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, heart and lung disease and skin disorders.”
