UT Health East Texas Physicians Welcomes Stacy Echetebu, MD, to Tyler

Dr. Stacy Echetebu

Tyler, Texas (November 5, 2025) — UT Health East Texas Physicians is expanding pediatric services in Tyler with the addition of Stacy Echetebu, MD.

“I believe in holistic care — treating the whole child, not just the symptoms,” Dr. Echetebu said. “My goal is to provide comprehensive care that supports both physical and emotional well-being.”

Dr. Echetebu cares for pediatric patients from birth through age 18, with a special interest in preventive care and mental health support. She works closely with families and specialists to provide comprehensive, high-quality care that addresses each child’s physical, emotional and developmental needs.

“I chose pediatrics because the early years are foundational,” she said. “Supporting children during these critical developmental stages is key to setting them up for a healthy adulthood.”

Dr. Echetebu said she strives to create a nurturing environment where children and families feel supported, understood and empowered in every stage of their health journey. Her approach is grounded in compassion, communication and partnership with families, ensuring that care decisions are always made collaboratively.

“My passion for helping others, combined with a fascination for diagnosing and managing medical conditions, naturally led me to a career in medicine,” she said. “It’s deeply rewarding to guide families through their health journeys and make a meaningful impact.”

Dr. Echetebu is welcoming patients at 3753 Earl Campbell Pkwy. in Tyler. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 903-747-9550.
