About the Author
Raul A. Deju is a distinguished executive, philanthropist, and author. He earned his doctorate in geosciences with highest honors at the age of 23 from the New Mexico Institute of Technology, following a B.S. in physics and mathematics. Between 2015 and now, Deju has been a partner at Brightstar Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity firm, and chairman of Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leading fleet maintenance company. In early 2025, at the age of 79, he finally retired to focus on charitable endeavors supporting nonprofit and academic initiatives focused on entrepreneurship, addiction control, major hospitals, anti-slavery, literacy, and military veteran entrepreneurship. He has held top executive roles at several prominent companies and advised U.S. government officials.
