JIM “PAPPY” MOORE: Democrats Double Down

Democrats have doubled down on dumb, disgusting, diatribes in the wake of their historic loss and rejection in the 2024 election.

Democrats lost the 2024 election overwhelmingly. Their weak, tired, annoying spiel failed with an electorate fed up with their chronic whining, name-calling, and identity politics. They spent their last few weeks of the election run-up calling Trump “Hitler” and maligning all who voted for him, calling them “garbage.”

Now that they lost, one might think they would reflect on why record numbers of Blacks, Latinos, Union members, and men voted for Trump. They might consider the failures of four years of bad Democrat leadership. And the horrible economy that ate up 25% of the buying power of citizen’s savings, their retirement money, their ability to pay for groceries, rent, and energy. 

But Democrats cannot accept blame. They cannot acknowledge responsibility for driving the economy off the cliff, for ruing grandma’s retirement years, for crushing the home ownership dreams of millennials and Gen Z. 

Now that Democrats lost the election, they pull out the same tired tropes. More identity politics. Those who voted for Trump are called White Nationalists. So voting for Trump with a proven record of success, someone proud to be an American, someone who is Christian – is attacked and smeared by the same party which embraced the real Nazis in the world – HAMAS and Hezbollah. 

Democrats’ Vice-Presidential nominee is in love with China. His devotion to them was evident in his buying Mao’s Little Red Book, and asking his students and others to read them. 

Democrats always, always, always attack on claims of sexual prejudice by Republican figures, with the weakest of accusations. All while they completely ignore the very real, very serious misconduct of Bill Clinton and Joe Biden. President Biden with his groping of women and children, with his being called “Pedo Pete” by his own son, accused by former aides, but Democrats ignored all these claims against the Democrat Pervert In Chief. They ignore the reports about new Democrat Senator from California Adam Schiff, involving underage boys. Of course, Oprah is touted in spite of her close relationship with Harvey Weinstein, convicted sex offender who preyed on young actresses. 

Democrats tout their claims of protecting Democracy, but they undermine democracy at every turn. They are vicious toward those voters whom they believe abandoned them, particularly men, younger voters, minorities. Democrats save their most horrific bile for the voters they think they own.  Union workers who know their bread is buttered by a Trump presidency are attacked by Democrats because they supported Trump.

I know Democrats who support the general tenets of diversity, equity and inclusion. They also believe in Christianity. They believe in many American ideals. They are not disdainful of Blacks, or Latinos, or gays, or women, or union members who support Trump. They know Democrat leadership went too far. 

Democrats would do well to accept responsibility for their loss, to figure out how to appeal to voters they have lost, and to stop this constant harangue against their political opponents. Their conduct is straight from Orwell’s Animal Farm, and they’re the pigs who want complete control of their populace. America wants less of Democrats’ name-calling and blaming others, and more of Democrats accepting and acknowledging that they went too far, and have to stop it.
