Bricks & Minifigs®, South Austin’s one-stop shop to buy, sell, and trade all things LEGO®, will open November 16, 2024 in the Sunset Valley Homestead Center at 5207 Brodie Lane, Suite 130 Sunset Valley, TX 78745.

Bricks & Minifigs® is the largest franchised toy store of its kind specializing in the buying, selling, and trading of new, retired, and used LEGO® sets, bulk bricks, and minifigures (“minifigs”). The store will be located at  5207 Brodie Lane, Suite 130 Sunset Valley, TX 78745, and is the first store opened by franchisees Tommy and Becky White, residents of South Austin.

In addition, Bricks & Minifigs will provide an event space for birthday parties or special LEGO® themed events like after-school robotics clubs, “Make-and-Take” events, Brick Derby races, and more. The space will also be available for corporate workshops, mini-retreats, and team-building off-site meetings.

Bricks & Minifigs has built its brand based on three principles:

  • REBUILD: with tens of thousands of pieces to choose from, customers will have what they need to rebuild their favorite sets or create their own original projects.
  • REUSE: BAM buys, sells, and trades everything LEGO®. And we mean everything!
  • REIMAGINE: staff members are trained to assist customers of all ages to create unique and imaginative masterpieces.

“I’m very excited to bring the Bricks & Minifigs experience to the area,” Owner, Tommy White said. “LEGO® is an ageless toy that appeals not only to children, but also to parents, grandparents, and anyone who enjoys creative expression through those little plastic bricks.”

The first 100 customers who make a purchase at the Grand Opening celebration on November 16, 2024 will receive a free customized “Bricks & Minifigs South Austin” minifig and there will be other large LEGO® giveaways raffled as well on that day. Additionally, LEGO® Ambassadors and Influencers Emmasaurus, jeansversion, thebrickbelayers, and others will be on hand to meet fans and say ‘hi’.  Kids of all ages will be thrilled to meet a few superheroes during the day as well.  There will be additional activities and treats throughout the day.

The LEGO® pop culture experience not only includes the quintessential building bricks, but various movies and television programs as well, such as “The LEGO® Movie” (2014) and the “LEGO® Batman Movie” (2017), “The LEGO® Ninjago Movie” (2017), and LEGO®Masters hosted by Will Arnett which just announced its fifth season (airs on FOX).
