Summary 

• The TimberHogs returned home tonight to face the Sherman Shadowcats. ● Wilton Castillo Franco took the mound for the ‘Hogs and struck out two in the first inning. ● The TimberHogs got on the board when Gage Goddard singled to left field, scoring Juan Murillo and AJ Smith. 
• The ‘Hogs extended their lead when Cermodrick Bland reached on a fielder’s choice and scored Kahne Nolen. 
• Karsten Fidler brought in Corbin Montayne to give the ‘Hogs a 4-0 lead. 
• Murillo hit a no-doubter over the left field fence, scoring three more for the TimberHogs. ● The ‘Hogs defense continued to shut down the Shadowcats. The ‘Hogs plated two more with RBIs from Charles Chatman and Murillo. 
• The Shadowcats got their first run in the bottom of the eighth, bringing the score to 9-1. ● Franco threw a gem tonight, striking out thirteen and only giving up one hit in seven innings of work. 
• The TimberHogs will travel to Texarkana tomorrow to face the Rhinos for the first time this season.
