Summary
● The TimberHogs faced off against the Abilene Flying Bison in the final game of the series
tonight.
● The Flying Bison started off the game scoring one unearned run in the first inning.
● In the second inning, Lukas Hinze and Kahne Nolen both scored off of wild pitches for the
‘Hogs.
● Hinze hit an RBI single to center field in the third, scoring Karsten Fidler.
● Abilene responded with another run in the top of the fourth, making the score 3-2 TimberHogs.
● Seishou Uchikoshi singled to left field and scored Cermodrick Bland. Juan Murillo reached on
a fielder’s choice which brought in AJ Smith.
● The Flying Bison plated six runs in the top of the fifth inning. They added another in the sixth
with a solo homerun. In the seventh, they scored one off an RBI single.
● Bland hit an RBI single to center field for the ‘Hogs, scoring Charles Chatman.
● A Flying Bison homerun extended their lead to 12-6 in the top of the eighth inning.
● The TimberHogs loaded up the bases in the eighth but couldn’t capitalize.
● The ‘Hogs will start a new series tomorrow night against the Joplin Outlaws at Roughneck
Stadium.
