Summary 

• The TimberHogs hosted the Joplin Outlaws for the first time this season.
• The ‘Hogs jumped out to an early lead in the bottom of the first. Hits from Melchione, Hinze, Gatson, and Montayne gave the Timberhogs a 4-0 lead. 
• After a scoreless second inning, Jackson homered to put the Outlaws on the board. The ‘Hogs responded by scoring two runs off hits from Hinze, Bland and Smith. 
• The Timberhogs held the Outlaws in the top of the fourth. Murillo homered for the ‘Hogs to score two more. 
• Each team put up two runs a piece in the fifth. The Outlaws scored off a single by Jackson and a RBI by Russell. The Timberhogs gained their runs from hits by Montayne and Martin and an error committed by the Outlaws. 
• The Outlaws responded in the sixth and seventh innings, scoring six runs. Their runs were scored off of two hits and three Timberhog errors. 
• Both teams were scoreless in the eighth inning. The Outlaws cut away at the Timberhogs’ lead in the ninth, scoring two runs off hits from Bond and Hill. 
• The game then went into extra innings. Each team scored one run in the tenth, tying the ballgame. Both teams scored off of sacrifice fly RBI’s. 
• Timberhogs catcher, Kahne Nolen, picked off an Outlaw runner on second base to hold the Outlaws scoreless in the eleventh inning. Colin Martin walked off the game for the Timberhogs, hitting a homerun that scored Chatman and Smith.
