JIM “PAPPY” MOORE: Pay Off Credit Card Debt Too

By Jim “Pappy” Moore

There is more student loan debt in America than there is credit card debt. Student loans total about 1.73 trillion dollars.

Credit Card debt is about 1.13 trillion dollars.

Why doesn’t Joe Biden forgive all credit card debt? Then the companies that hold that debt will be paid off and flush with cash. Then consumers would be able to pay their bills for housing, cars, etc. without being weighed down with that pesky credit card debt that they incurred.

If the notion works for student loans, why wouldn’t it work for credit card debt? Then we would be rid of all that credit card debt for people who owe money for things they cannot afford.

If the logic works for student loans, why wouldn’t it work for credit card debt?

I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking “but I pay my credit card debt every month and have for years. I would be punished for paying my credit card bills every month already. That wouldn’t be fair to me!”

Now, don’t be greedy. Can’t you see how this is good for all those people who borrowed money from those credit card companies but can’t pay it back? Why can’t you understand that those people are in such debt they can’t afford to buy homes and other items? They need this kind of help to give them a clean slate. So what if you paid all your credit card debt and all your student loans. Why can’t you give them a break and help them out?

For a mere $2.86 trillion dollars all the student loans and all the credit card debts would be paid in full. What’s another $2.86 trillion onto the National Debt? It’s already almost $36 trillion. We pay off the credit cards. We pay off the student loans. Everyone wins! Well, except the people that paid off their student loans and paid their credit cards off every month. Interestingly, those are the same people who have to pay most of the national debt. What’s another 8% on the debt? Why that’s not even a good tip! They should be happy it only costs an extra 8% debt to clear the debt of all the Americans who can’t pay off their credit cards or their student debt.

It’s time for some real relief for Americans. Wipe out credit card debt, Joe Biden! Why stop with student debt?

Call it The Suck It Up and Pay Everyone Else’s Credit Card and School Debt program. It’s totally legit if Joe Biden signs something saying it is. Maybe next look into home debt. Also, why should renters have to pay rent?
