CELEBRATING TEXAS INDEPENDENCE DAY IN GRAPEVINE

WHAT:                  The Big & Bright 180th Birthday Bash – Celebrating 180 years on the Grape Vine Prairie,  Texas Independence Day and 50 years of the Grapevine Historical Society. Take a walk through history throughout the decades at the events at the Grapevine Historical Museum and Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) Grand Hall which are adjacent to each other.

12 p.m. Chuck-Wagon Chili Lunch – Grapevine CVB Grand Hall
2 p.m. “Peter Pan” Classic 1924 Feature Film – Grapevine CVB Grand Hall

WHO:                    Mayor William D. Tate will be speaking at 1 p.m. about his life and book “My Barefoot Days” and the history of Grapevine.
