Tyler, Texas (January 29, 2024) — UT Health East Texas is expanding audiology services in Tyler with the addition of Katherine Bowman, AuD. She strives to ensure that a patient’s hearing needs are met, and that they also feel seen and heard through high-quality care. Dr. Bowman is intrigued by all aspects of audiology, but has a particular interest in diagnostics and rehabilitation.
“I fell into audiology by accident, first wanting to become a teacher for the deaf,” she said. “I ended up in a speech language/audiology major and by year three was in awe of just how much goes on in the tiny spaces that our auditory and vestibular systems have to work in. The symmetry and beauty of the human ear and its parts are never boring and still leave me in wonder almost 20 years later.”
Dr. Bowman is welcoming patients at 2210 Three Lakes Pkwy., Ste. 100 in Tyler. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 903-747-4098.
