Driver 1: Deceased.

Scott Thomas Brittain, 54-YOA from Fort Worth, TX.

Pronounced deceased at the scene by the Collin County Medical Examiner.

Vehicle 2: 2023 Honda Odyssey.

Driver:

Suman Ponnala Sadgunarao, 39-YOA from Irving, TX.

Not injured.

 

Description: Preliminary investigation indicates that vehicle 1 was traveling southbound when it began to veer towards the left side of the roadway. Vehicle 1 struck Vehicle 2 and continued to veer off the highway and into the median. Vehicle 1 struck a signpost, rolled over, and the driver ejected. This investigation is ongoing, and no additional information is available.
