FORT WORTH, TEXAS, December 6, 2024 – Edgy. Classic. Country. A defining voice of music and a modern-day legend, two-time GRAMMY® winner and Country Music Hall of Fame inductee Tanya Tucker will join the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo (FWSSR) Auditorium Entertainment Series presented by Ariat, Friday, January 26. Produced in partnership with Live Nation, the series, held in the legendary Will Rogers Auditorium January 12 – February 3, will also include iconic country music artist Sammy Kershaw, Grammy award-winning roots band Old Crow Medicine Show, multi-platinum country music entertainer and actor Trace Adkins, Motown legend Smokey Robinson and the combined talents of Academy of Country Music and Grammy award winners Pam Tillis and Little Texas.

“It’s an honor to have Tanya Tucker join the Auditorium Entertainment Series,” said FWSSR President Brad Barnes. “It’s incredible to think that she was part of our Show 50 years ago when she performed during our rodeo at only 16 years old. We’re thrilled for what I know will be another awesome performance.”

Tucker had her first country hit, the classic “Delta Dawn,” at the age of 13 in 1972 and since that auspicious beginning, she has become one of the most admired and influential artists in country music history. Tucker has brought together 23 Top 40 albums and a stellar string of 56 Top 40 singles, ten of which reached the No. 1 spot on the Billboard country charts. Tanya’s indelible songs include some of country music’s biggest hits such as “Soon,” “Two Sparrows in a Hurricane,” “It’s a Little Too Late,” “Trouble,” “Texas (When I Die),” “If It Don’t Come Easy” and “Strong Enough To Bend.” Tanya is also the recipient of numerous awards, including two CMAs, two ACMs and three CMT awards. In 2020, Tanya received two GRAMMY® Awards for Best Country Album: While I’m Livin’ and Best Country Song: “Bring My Flowers Now.” In 2023, Tucker was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Country music icon Sammy Kershaw kicks off the series on Friday, January 12with Grammy Award-winning folk band Old Crow Medicine Show bringing its unique brand of roots music to the stage on Thursday, January 18. Trace Adkins, known for his deep baritone and cross-over appearances as an actor in “Mom’s Night Out,” and “Deepwater Horizon,” among many others, will appear Friday, January 19. Legendary Motown artist Smokey Robinson will bring his classic voice to the stage Saturday, January 20 and country music favorites Pam Tillis and Little Texas will share the stage, Thursday, February 1.

Tanya Tucker concert tickets will go on sale on Saturday, December 9 at 10 a.m. at Tickets for each performance will provide admission to the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo grounds (rodeo performances require a separate ticket).
