Historic Upshur Museum’s 30th Year Membership Drive

The public is invited to participate in the Historic Upshur  Museum’s Donation Membership Pledge Drive on Thursday  November 30th from 5-8pm. It is the Museum’s 30th year. We  appreciate all you have done in the past and need your  continued support. Over the years donations to the Historic  Upshur Museum has helped to provide a place where exhibits  and programs enlighten our locals and visitors on the history of  Upshur County.

We respectfully request that you stop by and  pledge an annual membership donation of $25 at the Nena’s  Finds Fashion Boutique in Gilmer at 215 W. Tyler Street. Refreshment and music by Jon Griffin a guitarist will be  featured. His biggest influences are classic blues and rock’n’roll but can and have played everything from praise and worship to  country to reggae. His set is an eclectic mix of 80’s hits, romantic ballads, classic blues and rock, and a few out-law  country songs that every Texas guitar player should know. He  loves to perform and he looks forward to returning to Gilmer.  Jon performed during the Museum’s September Thursday Music Night. Your donations will help to sustain the museum in  the coming years.
