Austin-based credit union is committed to supporting students at every stage of their educational journey
AUSTIN, TEXAS (Nov. 1, 2023) – A+ Federal Credit Union is proud to announce the launch of its annual scholarship program for the 2024-2025 school year. The scholarship program provides 60 current or college-bound students with a $2,000 scholarship. Applications opened on Nov. 1, 2023, and will be accessible until February 2, 2024, through the A+ Federal Credit Union scholarship page.
Students can apply for the scholarship if they or their parents are (or become) A+ Federal Credit Union members by the application deadline. This scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors, current college students pursuing an education degree with a minimum of 60 collegiate credit hours, and teachers pursuing graduate degrees.
“This scholarship will help to alleviate some of the financial stress along my journey pursuing an engineering degree,” says Chloe Cano, an A+ Federal Credit Union 2023 scholarship winner from Trinity University. “I will now be able to focus solely on my academic work in college. Thank you for this opportunity.”

The A+ Federal Credit Union annual scholarships serve as an aid to parents and students in all financial situations. The scholarship program gives those whose income exceeds traditional financial aid an opportunity to save on college tuition.
