TEXAS KIDS AVIATION ART CONTEST DEADLINE FOR ENTRY NOV 30 APPROACHING

The 2024 theme: Air Sports for a Peaceful World

Flight of the Phoenix Aviation Museum continues its call for Gilmer Area school kids to enter the 2024 International Aviation Art Contest sponsored the Federation Aeronautique Internationale World Air Sports Federation and TxDOT Aviation “Kids Aviation Art Contest”. $3,000 in scholarships will encompass nine categories in three age groups: 6-10, 11-13, and 14-17. The art contest is a major element of the museum’s Aviation STEM, or as we say, our Aviation STEaM initiative. A for Arts.

Deadline for submitting your art entry is Thursday Nov 30. Entries should be submitted to your principal’s office, or contact Steve Dean at Fotpam@gmail.Com or text at 903-790-7435. At the conclusion of our local contest everyone of the local art entries will be submitted for further state, national, and international judging.
