Seasonal Immersion

SUNDAY November 5, 2023

“The best thing about memories is making them.”

If we focus on the good vibes of the holiday season and don’t get too caught up in the hurry of it all, this time of year is one of the best in the Upper East Side of Texas. Immerse yourself in all the sights, sounds, and tastes, and enjoy all the senses of the season.

Small towns go all out with parades, turkey trots, special shopping experiences, tree lightings, beautiful music, performing and visual art shows, hot chocolate and candy canes, and even “snow” and ice to add to magical memories.

When making your shopping lists I hope you include hand-crafted items by our talented local artists, culinary treats that started on local farms, gift certificates to our wonderful restaurants, and donations to your favorite nonprofits that feed, heal, educate, inspire, and nurture our communities.

In this issue get a big sampling of markets, concerts, theatre, and special events to make sure your calendar this season is filled with good times. — P.A. Geddie
