4-H Kickoff this Saturday

What do the four H’s represent in 4-H?? They encompass the entire life of a person through the equal training of the head, heart, hands, and health.
The 4-H motto is “To make the best better,” and the pledge is as follows:
“I pledge my head to clearer thinking, my heart to greater loyalty, my hands to larger service, and my health to better living. For my club, my community, my country, and my world.”
If you are looking for a well-rounded organization for your child(ren) between grades 3-12 to learn and grow, 4-H just might be for you!
To learn more about the
Upshur County 4-H program and the projects we offer, come this Saturday night between 6:00-8:00pm to our annual kick-off. It will be held in the big barn at Shadow Market Ranch at the corner of FM 726 and FM 300.
