UT Health East Texas Physicians Welcomes Cassandra Rasmussen, PsyD to Tyler
Tyler (September 6, 2023) — UT Health East Texas is expanding behavioral health services in Tyler with the addition of Cassandra Rasmussen, PsyD.

DR. CASSANDRA RASMUSSEN
Dr. Rasmussen has a special interest in helping patients with weight loss, medical rehabilitation, sports performance and trauma recovery. “I aim to act as a guide to my patients using evidence-based practices and current research. Patients very often hold the answers; sometimes they simply need help finding them,” she said. “I will gently challenge my patients to dig deeper while reassuring them they are psychologically safe in the moment and not alone.”
Dr. Rasmussen chose to pursue psychology because regardless of life’s outcomes, our mental/emotional/spiritual life will dictate our perception. “This perception alters the way we interact with others in relationships and with ourselves. I aim to teach patients how to become more self-aware to make the changes necessary to support their goals.” Dr. Rasmussen is dedicated to helping others maximize their potential, heal and create their dream life stating, “Let’s ask why and problem solve together.”
Cassandra Rasmussen is welcoming patients at 11937 U.S. Hwy 271 in Tyler. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 903-877-7168.
